Join me for a conversation with Dean Kuipers at the independent bookstore City Lit. Kuipers’s memoir about the agency of nature, The Deer Camp, was published by Bloomsbury on May 14, 2019. Dean is a Michigan native and one of his previous books, Burning Rainbow Farm, was a Michigan Notable Book. The Deer Camp is the true story of a shattered family reunited by contact with a remote Michigan swamp.
